Arts-in-Education Showcase

The Showcase is a National YA network “institution,” and an exciting opportunity to learn about and discuss the latest arts-in-education information with staff, artists, educators and volunteers. Our Showcase has become an arts-in-education conference that includes opportunities to learn from teachers, artists and administrators.  The schedule is packed with panel sessions, mini-workshops, program previews and informal opportunities to discuss the full range of YA services with colleagues.  The Showcase is held each year in September and is free of charge.

Assessment

YA provides a broad range of assessment services.  We can help you develop assessment tools for a specific arts-in-education program, or set up broad-based assessment for multiple programs (see Consulting)  We can also train your staff in the latest arts-in-education assessment methods (see Professional Development Workshops)

Funding

YA provides a broad range of funding support services, including program subsidies and grant resources.  We can consult with you about funding goals (See Consulting), and train your staff in the latest arts-in-education funding strategies (See Professional Development Workshops).

Advocacy

As a service provider, YA is a committed arts-in-education advocate.  We can help you advocate for arts-in-education in your school or district.  Contact us for a free presentation!  We will share advocacy tips with your PTA members and administrators.  Learn why and how to advocate for arts-in-education!

Information

YA is an information center for the latest arts-in-education information.  We provide information to schools via our website, mailings, consultations, meetings and our annual Showcase.

Study Guides

Teacher study guides tailored to each program are available for all YA artist performances and workshops.  Study guides provide teachers with a wealth of information to share with students before and after the program, to strengthen curriculum ties and deepen the learning experience.

Administrative Support

YA provides full administrative support for our menu of services, including scheduling, billing, evaluation and reporting.
