Bubblemania Pop Art!
Science in the Air! Three-dimensional Art! Encourage science, art, and reading with soap bubbles! Doug demonstrates why and how bubbles form and pop leading an investigation of surface tension, evaporation, and gravity in grade appropriate vocabulary. He creates sculptures such as a snowman, ice cream cones and a spaceship with bubbles, and uses story telling with bubbles acting out the tale for reading encouragement. He finishes the show with a breathtaking creation: a child in a bubble! (Science/Language Arts)
